Musical performances in the historical places of the town.

• 25th July, at Villa Mussolini live music by Colombre and Brace 

• 28th July, at Villa Franceschi live music by Inserire Floppino and the Choir Coro Lirico "Perla Verde" Riccione (modern and traditional music)

• 31st July, at Villa Franceschi performance by Norina Angelini and Daniela Giovanetti (tango music and performances)

• 13th  August, at Villa Franceschi Delilah Gutman and Raphael Negri (Jewish music)

• 16th August, at Villa Franceschi Astri, the concert for violin and piano

• 2nd September, at Villa Franceschi, the tenor Gian Luca Pasolini and the teacher Piero Corradino Giovannini

• 7th, 8th, 9th September at Villa Franceschi, final concert by the artists of Istituto Musicale di Riccione 

The name (in local pronunciation Arcaton) comes from the Greek and Byzantine occupation dated back to the sixth century AD: "Archeion" is the name of a plant, the burr, which still grows spontaneously in some areas of the beach now occupied by the bathing establishments but which was once abundant on the desert shore of Riccione.
