The excursion begins in Piazza Ganganelli with a meeting with the guide at the Triumphal Arch, the symbol of Santarcangelo, where the history of the square and the events related to Pope Clement XIV will be explained.
The tour continues with a brief stop at Combarbio and a visit to the evocative Monumental Cave, a fascinating and mysterious place, characterized by tunnels and underground rooms that tell of a distant past.
Followed by a tasting of typical local products and a guided walk through the historic center, past monasteries, ancient gates, bastions, and towers, all the way to the Rocca Malatestiana. The tour will be accompanied by stories, curiosities, and anecdotes about the history of the city and the Malatesta family.
